Magazines Everywhere on Campus!

Huzzah!

The first issue of SLICED BREAD is out! Find it everywhere on campus! Here are some of the locations:

Reynolds Club
Cobb Hall
Hallowed Grounds
Cobb Coffee Shop
Max Palevsky East
Max Palevsky Central
Max Palevsky West
Pierce Hall

All major academic buildings were stocked with a one time limited supply of magazines. However, the Reynolds Club and Cobb Hall will be re-stocked as long as our supplies last! Finally, if you can't find ANY magazines at all, please shoot us an e-mail. When our stock of free magazines do run out (900 magazines), we will be forced to ask for a small fee...

Change of Venue!

Only one week to go until the Sliced Bread Launch Party! We just have a few announcements to make regarding the launch party -

1. The event venue has been relocated to the McCormick Tribune Lounge on the first floor of the Reynolds Club.

2. The menu for the food from Cedars is as follows: Hummus, Falafels, and Pineapple Hareesas (like a pineapple cheesecake, but even better!).

3. The launch party will serve as a background for a professional music video for Soap & Skin, which means there will be a film crew on site.

4. The winners of our contest will be announced after the first act.

Once again, the launch party is on Friday, May 25th from 7PM to 10PM in the McCormick Tribune Lounge ( not Hallowed Grounds!) which is on the first floor of the Reynolds Club opposite of Hutch Commons!

SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Get Excited!

The magazine is now done! We just sent it off to the printer; we expect deliver sometime in mid-May, which means that you should:

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Why?

Because there is a LAUNCH PARTY on May 25th!

Stay updated for more information on the exact time and place.

We're bringing in two great bands: Soap & Skin and Jesse Centrella. They both have MySpace profiles, so you should definitely check them out and hear their music. Also, there will be great food from Cedars of Lebanon, a delightfully delectable Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Even better, all of this is FREE.

We'll keep you posted...

In the meantime, visit our website and preview the magazine!
